HARDlight Halloween
This year we decided to change things up by hosting the first The Great HARDlight Halloween Bake Off. With our panel of 4 exclusive judges, they were presented with 6 dishes to rate on spookability and taste.
All the food and staging were put together by Creepy Cori Catering™. We had a scare-cuterie board with various meats wrapped around a baguette and cheese fingers to look like a severed arm, along with meat roses. The spewing pumpkin of nachos was a horrific twist, along with gory sweets, a tower of cupcakes of iconic horror legends and coffin-shaped sandwiches!
We even had a "no victims taken" menu for our vegans, with items that were specifically catered to be gluten-free. There was a boo-cuterie board made up of pretzels, olives, vegetables, and oranges camouflaged as little pumpkins. We had a giant coffin filled with sweet and salted popcorn, cauldrons filled with crisps, gluten-free bread coffin sandwiches and healthy Zombie bars!
